Fresh Spinach Salad

1lb fresh spinach (stems cut off)
1/2 lb fresh mushrooms
6-8 green onions chopped
8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1 cup salad oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 t dry mustard
1/2 t onion juice
1/2 t salt
1/3 cup cider vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

Wash and pat dry spinach leaves, tear into bite sized pieces.  Rinse mushrooms in cold water, drain well and slice thin. Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl and set aside.

Combine rest of ingredients, except vinegar, in a blender, and blend well.  Slowly add vinegar while blender is running.

Toss spinach mixture with dressing until well coated , right before serving.  Season w/salt and and pepper.  Makes 8-10 servings.
It's not the years that make us grow, but the challenges that we know.
